“Explaining the lifestyle and achievements of the Iranian Muslim woman is a form of Jihad of Enlightenment and undoubtedly contributes to the promotion and presentation of Lady Fatimah’s (a.s.) lifestyle. She serves as a role model for women across all eras and generations because of her comprehensive and multifaceted personality,” raised in the session titled “The Necessity and Approach to Modeling the Lifestyle of Lady Fatimah (a.s.) for the New Generation” held at the AhlulBayt (a.s.) News Agency – ABNA.
ABWA Official Website – The session titled “The Necessity and Approach to Emulating the Lifestyle of Fatimah (a.s.) for the New Generation” was held on Sunday, November 25, 2024, in the conference hall of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) News Agency – ABNA.
In this session, Mrs. Masoumeh Fatemi, a researcher in women’s studies, and Mrs. Effat Arabzadeh, a professor at Jamiah al-Zahra (a.s.), shared their perspectives.
Lady Fatimah’s (a.s.) Courage in Defending the Wilayah Principle: Commendable
In her discussion on “Why the New Generation Should Emulate the Lifestyle of Lady Fatimah (a.s.),” Mrs. Fatemi highlighted that today’s world, with its all power, is working to set new role model for the new generation and promote its own lifestyle, seeking to align the public with its values.
Considering Lady Fatimah (a.s.) as a true and tangible role model for society, she emphasized, “It is essential to present Lady Fatimah’s (a.s.) lifestyle in a way that is understandable for today’s generation so that her exalted position does not become an obstacle to people emulating her. As the Supreme Leader of the Revolution has said, every aspect of Lady Fatimah’s (a.s.) life has been thoroughly explained, unlike the life of Lady Zaynab (a.s.), which is often reduced to her role in the uprising of Imam Hussain (a.s.).”
Mrs. Fatemi reflected on the challenges in Lady Fatimah’s (a.s.) life, such as the loss of her mother, the hardships in the Siege of Valley of Abu Talib, the persecution of the Prophet (p.b.u.h), poverty, and her role in jihad. “Despite all the difficulties she faced, Lady Fatimah (a.s.) did her best to carry out her duties at every stage to ensure the survival of Islam. This makes her an ideal role model for our individual and social lives,” she noted.
She also described qualities like wisdom, dignity, honesty, and simplicity as key aspects of Lady Fatimah’s (a.s.) character, stressing that “The courage and determination of the daughter of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) in defending the principle of Wilayah is commendable. Despite her challenging circumstances, including pregnancy, she personally reached out to every individual, speaking with them to ensure that Imam Ali (a.s.) was not left isolated.”
Further, emphasizing Lady Fatimah’s (a.s.) spiritual status and her commitment to both social and religious responsibilities, Mrs. Fatemi added, “Lady Fatimah (a.s.) was also fully engaged with her household duties, as she understood that women are the foundation of the family and Islam places great importance on preserving the family unit.”
Concluding her remarks, Mrs. Fatemi quoted the Supreme Leader’s statement, “The Iranian Muslim woman is at the peak,” affirmed, “Explaining the lifestyle and achievements of the Iranian Muslim woman is part of the Enlightening Jihad and plays a crucial role in spreading and presenting the lifestyle of Lady Fatimah (a.s.).”
The Need to Expose the Futility of the Western Woman’s Role Model
Following the meeting, Mrs. Arabzadeh stressed the importance of understanding the present era, explaining, “Today’s global discourse is shaped by postmodernism, which ultimately leads to individualism and humanism. This gives rise to the misconception that emulation is meaningless and ineffective.”
“Ironically, even proponents of postmodernism acknowledge that emulation is part of human Fitrah (human divine nature,) and while they may ignore it, they are doing their best to make society follow their own models and make others bow for them,” she continued.
The professor at Jamiah al-Zahra (a.s.) emphasized the need for a reformed approach to emulation, stating, “Conscious emulation is a valuable and righteous choice, and we must be mindful in selecting our role models. Humans, by their Fitrah, seek truth and goodness, and are naturally drawn to virtuous actions and adopt examples.”
Mrs. Arabzadeh, referring to the Supreme Leader’s words, highlighted the gap in available role models within society, saying, “Our failure to present an authentic and pure role model suited to today’s audience has allowed the enemy’s model to take root in the minds of the Iranian public. If we can show and explain the futility of the Western woman’s model, a true example like Lady Fatimah (a.s.) will take its place in people’s hearts.”
She then asked, “How can a woman who lived 1,400 years ago be a role model for today’s woman?” and responded, “We cannot simply apply the structures of the past to today’s world. Instead, it is essential to convey the essence of Lady Fatimah’s (a.s.) life to today’s society. She will remain a model for women throughout all ages due to her comprehensive and multifaceted character.”
The professor concluded by saying, “Sometimes we exaggerate certain aspects of Lady Fatimah’s life and present them as a role model, which can hinder emulation. If she had been an unachievable figure, she would never have been introduced as a role model. Today, inspired by Lady Fatimah’s (a.s.) unwavering commitment to Wilayah, women in the Resistance Movement defend the cause of truth with all their strength.”

Ayatollah Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, said, “Despite its claims about defending women’s rights, the West has not done so. Today, in the West, unfortunately, women are used as tools and have not reached their true position.”
ABWA Official Website – On Saturday, November 23, 2024, members of the Scientific Committee and Policy Council of the International Conference “Identity Challenges of Contemporary Muslim Women, and Lady Fatimah (a.s.) as Role Model” from Al-Mustafa (p.b.u.h) International University met with Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
In this meeting, while welcoming the guests, Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “The most important issue in holding such conferences is to provide comprehensive, accurate, and in-depth content in international formats.”
Regarding the virtues of Lady Fatimah Zahra (a.s.), he said, “She is a perfect and comprehensive role model for girls, wives, and even men and humans. Therefore, regardless of gender, all humanity can take Lady Zahra (a.s.) as their role model.”
Emphasizing the necessity of studying all stages of Lady Zahra’s (a.s.) life, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly added, “Unfortunately, some only focus on a specific era of Lady’s life. While all aspects of her life should be examined and studied. On the other hand, it is necessary to address the persuasive aspects of the life of the daughter of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) in the educational, cultural, political, and social fields; and not just the proscribing and challenging aspects.”
In this regard, he explained, “In addition to the divine personality, it is necessary to address the worldly aspect of Lady Zahra (a.s.) as a comprehensive and perfect human being. Because she was struggling with various hardships, crises, and challenges of the time in this world. At that time, people used to disrespect and neglect Lady Khadijah (a.s.), the mother of Lady Zahra (a.s.). So much so that the Prophet (p.b.u.h) said in this regard: “No prophet has been harassed and harmed as much as I have.” The Prophet (p.b.u.h) was harassed a lot by the infidels, especially in Mecca, and the companions told the Prophet (p.b.u.h) dozens of times that they were ready for jihad against the infidels. But the Prophet (p.b.u.h) responded that he was not ordered to wage jihad. Until after the migration to Medina, God allowed the Muslims to jihad.”
Regarding some incorrect introductions of Islam, Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “Some claim that the sword of Imam Ali (a.s.) and the wealth of Lady Khadijah (a.s.) caused the spread of Islam. While during the time of the Prophet’s (p.b.u.h) residence in Mecca, there was no talk of the sword and jihad. Rather, what caused the spread of Islam was the morality and attractiveness of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) and the lofty teachings of Islam.”
“In this regard, the Prophet (p.b.u.h) gave women personality, and the movement to revive women’s personality began during his time. Because women were neglected throughout history, and even women were considered part of the inheritance for the eldest son! In such a society, when Lady Zahra (a.s.) entered the Prophet’s (p.b.u.h) home, he would stand up for her, go towards her, invite her to sit in his place and kiss her hands. The Prophet’s (p.b.u.h) respect for Lady Zahra (p.b.u.h) was due to her morality and personality perfections. If it were not for Imam Ali (a.s.), Lady Zahra (a.s.) would have no equal or spouse. Therefore, the Prophet (p.b.u.h) defended women and revived their rights,” he added.
The professor of the higher levels of the Qom Seminary continued, “There is no difference between men and women in achieving spiritual positions. In the Quran, God has addressed men and women together. This is while in the West, due to severe restrictions on women, feminism was created. Despite its claims about defending women’s rights, the West has not done so. Today, in the West, unfortunately, women are used as tools and have not reached their true position.”
“Women can bring about change in society,” he said, “The first component to create modern Islamic civilization, is education, and the educational role of women in this field is important. Because half of the world’s population is made up of women.”
On raising children, Ayatollah Ramazani continued, “Lady Zahra (a.s.) raised the best children with the least resources. In such a way that sometimes nothing was found in their home. But today, although women have the most resources, they cannot even provide average upbringing for their children.”
“In the modern era, we must provide the necessary content. We can introduce Lady Zahra (a.s.) to the world as a comprehensive, accurate, and perfect model in various fields, and in this case, we will be victorious in achieving modern Islamic civilization. Of course, our knowledge and understanding of Lady Zahra (a.s.) must be complete, and we must introduce her in international formats and with appropriate literature. Women in society and those who are on the path of perfection, emulate Lady Zahra (a.s.) as their role model.”
Regarding the areas of cooperation between the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and the International Conference of “Identity Challenges of Contemporary Muslim Women, and Lady Fatimah (a.s.) as Role Model” Ayatollah Ramazani said, “ABNA News Agency can provide news coverage on the topic of women, family, and introducing Lady Zahra (a.s.). Also, the capacity of the virtual encyclopedia WikiShia in 22 languages can be used to present articles in the form of wikis, and translations.”
It is worth mentioning that at the beginning of this meeting, the organizers of the international conference “Identity Challenges of Contemporary Muslim Women, and Lady Fatimah (a.s.) as Role Model,” presented a report on the process and goals of the conference.

It is worth mentioning that on Thursday, November 21, 2024, the International Criminal Court in The Hague issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant on charges of committing war crimes, crimes against humanity, and using starvation of the people of Gaza as a weapon.

An international missionary said, “Translating books into other languages and having networks in different languages will help us solve two important problems of today’s world: one is Islamophobia and the other is Iranophobia.”
ABWA Official Website – On the sidelines of the unveiling ceremony of the latest publications of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, an international missionary, in an interview with ABNA News Agency, said, “God willing, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly will become a global reference point for Shiites, Christians, and all Muslims and non-Muslims in the world.”
Hojat al-Islam Mohsen Rabbani, who is also the director of the Andishe Sharq (Oriental Thought) Institute, stated about the importance of translation, “Of course, Translating books into other languages and having networks in different languages will help us solve two important problems of today’s world: one is Islamophobia and the other is Iranophobia.”
Regarding the mischief of the arrogant world, he said, “The arrogant world, which dominates the networks today, pursues two issues: First, that Muslims are terrorists! Second, that Iranians support terrorists and strengthen them! This is while Islam is a religion of peace, science, and knowledge. Islam is a religion that respects all divine religions.”
This international missionary added, “Islam not only respects divine religions, but also has heartfelt faith in the Prophet Jesus and the Prophet Moses, and states that if a Muslim does not believe in these two prophets, he is not a Muslim. Islam considers defense necessary, but it does not initiate any war with any country. If the Islamic Republic of Iran was involved in a war for eight years, it was to defend the country. We were attacked, and war was imposed on us by Saddam, who was a servant of others.”
Addressing the world people, he said, “We call on all the people of the world to study Iran and Islam. Today, Iran wants nothing but world peace and brotherhood. This is what the Quran has commanded us: “قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ تَعَالَوْا إِلَىٰ كَلِمَةٍ سَوَاءٍ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ” (Say: O followers of the Book! come to an equitable proposition between us and you) (3: 64). I call all people of the world, people who believe in divine Books, Muslims, and non-Muslims, to unite together under the banner of God, and create a world without war, full of peace and brotherhood.”
At the end of his speech, Hojat al-Islam Rabbani said, “We hope that the people of the world will refer to the AhlulBayt (a.s.) International Network and the ABNA News Agency; and also use books translated into different languages.”
