Important letter from Muslim Doctors Association over insulting Holy Prophet (PBUH) in France

Following the French President's insult to the Prophet of Islam, the International Charitable Foundation of Muslim and followers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Doctors sent a message to the French Doctors Without Borders France.

The text of the lettr is as follow:

In the Name of God, the Most High

From: Muslim Doctors Association

To: Doctors Without Borders France

Greetings and best regards,

Following the insult of the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, to the Prophet of Islam and the leader of more than two billion Muslims in the world, it seems appropriate that we should discuss some issues with our colleagues in the medical community.

Isn’t it logical?

At a time when many of the countries of the world are struggling against COVID-19 and more and more people are dying every day, all countries, especially the countries with the most advanced technology and the claimants of an advanced civilization, shouldn’t they concentrate all of their efforts, as well as those of others, to fight this evil virus to save human lives?

Isn’t it a crime for a country’s top executive to insult the leader of an important part of the international community, namely the religious leader of more than two billion Muslims?

Doesn’t Doctors Without Borders, which works to save human lives around the world, consider peace of mind and lack of anxiety a prerequisite for good health?

Thus, how is it that it is not a crime for the president of a country to provoke emotions and force Muslims to confront such actions?

Isn’t it a crime to create an atmosphere of insecurity, turmoil and unwanted conflicts that can lead to serious consequences, when it is recommended to stay at home and observe social distancing when outside one’s home?

On the contrary, it seems that measures must be taken into consideration to compensate for this great mistake, such as publishing articles in the media, etc. Through such measures, it is possible to create a sense of healing in the pain-filled hearts of Muslims.

The President of France must be prepared to answer to French and international courts due to the complaints from large numbers of Muslims regarding the psychological damage caused by his remarks.

The Muslim Doctors Association calls on the hardworking French organization Doctors Without Borders to explicitly condemn the President of France’s statements which are detrimental to mental and social health and, for its part, to prevent the repetition of similar statements.
