Greatest scholars cannot describe position of Lady Fatima (a.s.):‌ Nasim Walji

On the birth anniversary of Lady Zahra (a.s.) and Women’s Week, the first virtual and international meeting of women followers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) with the officials of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly was held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.

In this meeting, referring to the characteristics of Lady Zahra (a.s.), Nasim Valji, the head of the British Mesbah Al-Huda Institute, stated, “According to the Infallible Imams (a.s.), this noble lady is free from any evil and pollution. She is an example of the verse ‘إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ’ ‘Indeed We have given you abundance’ (Quran, Surah Kawthar, Verse: 1). Many of us memorize Surah Kawthar and recite it in our daily prayers. This surah was revealed to the Prophet (p.b.u.h) as a gift from God.”

“According to Surah Kawthar, God has blessed the Prophet, who is a blessing for the world, with Kawthar. That is, Lady Zahra (a.s.) is a mercy for the mercy of the worlds. Surah Kawthar is the smallest surah of the Quran in which we understand that God granted Lady Zahra (a.s.) to the Prophet (p.b.u.h) in the most difficult time. When the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) lost his sons in their childhood, it was a period of grief and mourning for the Prophet (p.b.u.h) and Lady Khadijah (a.s.). But God made the heart of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) happy and gave him a blessing,” she continued.

“The different interpretations of the word Kawthar are mesmerizing and astonishing. Lady Fatimah (a.s.) is the Kowsar of life, a beautiful spring and energy of life. During her lifetime in the seventh century AD, this noble lady was a powerful and progressive woman and more mature than her age. The 18-year life of Lady Zahra (a.s.) is full of sacrifice, service, strengthening faith and approaching God Almighty,” added the head of the Mesbah Al-Huda Institute of England.

Today, in the 21st century, in the global village where we can travel around the world with our touches in a matter of seconds, we realize that our challenges as women and those who take responsibility for Fatimid life are very serious. It is a very valid questions to ask how to bring Fatima (a.s.) into our lives. We have to ask ourselves, ‘Am I a true follower of Lady Fatima?’ Lady Zahra (a.s.) is a secret of divine secrets,” Walji said, referring to the challenges of Muslim women.

“We have to return to the roots. That is, to cling to the Quranic sacred teachings and to understand and win over the Fatimid way of life. Today we face serious challenges in the West. Challenges such as single mothers who have to raise their children alone and keep their jobs. Also in society, we are faced with questions about faith, covering, maintaining modesty, hijab, knowledge of the unseen, and the presence and existence of Imam Mahdi (a.s.),” she continued.

“We live in a society that deals with reason. Therefore, we must argue with authentic knowledge, valid science, and wisdom. God says in the Quran: ‘Do they not ponder at the verses of Quran thoughtfully?’ That means you and we have to return to the roots,” added the head of the Mesbah Al-Huda Institute of England.

“Whenever there is talk of Lady Fatima Zahra (a.s.), I cannot do justice to describe her. Even the greatest scholars, scientists, preachers, and even motivational speakers are not able to do justice to speak about Lady Fatima (a.s.), because she is Fatima. Fatima is Fatima. Because when you look at every angle of her life, you see a range of love for God and seeking His pleasure, whether in his prayers, or in his Sahifa, or in his knowledge, or in the dissemination of her knowledge among the women of Medina that she was always available to these women and helped them. Lady Zahra (a.s.) was at the forefront of defending the faith, Imam and Wali of her time,” Walji stated, referring to the high position of Lady Zahra (a.s.).

“Women must be at the forefront of faith and understanding of God. We are facing the challenge of Hijabofobia today. Some are challenged about the science of the unseen, and some even have doubts about God Almighty. They question the existence of God,” she continued.

“Every chapter of Lady Zahra’s life is a model for us women in the challenges we face. We should study about this beautiful manifestation of God, who is Tahereh, Seddqeh, Marzieh, Razieh, Zakia, Batool, Fatimah and Zahra. Lady Zahra (a.s.) is not only a role model for women, but also a role model for men,” noted the head of the Mesbah Al-Huda Institute of England.
