The former representative of Tehran in the Islamic Consultative Assembly said, “Quds is the axis of Muslim unity and the symbol of resistance against global arrogance and international Zionism.”
The International Conference “Women and Holy Quds” was held on the evening of Tuesday, May 16, 2022, on the eve of World Quds Day, in the conference hall of the Palestine Intifada Conference.
Speaking at the conference, Laleh Eftekhari, a member of the Central Council of the Islamic Coalition Party, said, “Quds Day is not just the day of Palestine, rather, according to Imam Khomeini, it is the day of Islam, the day of Islamic rule and the day of the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h). Palestine and Holy Quds are the honor and dignity of Islam.”
“In fact, we consider Quds Day as the day of women, girls and men of Palestinian families, and the day of the Islamic world, that is, those who are our sisters, brothers and daughters” she added.
“Quds is the axis of Muslim unity, and the symbol of resistance against global arrogance and international Zionism. Defending Palestine is defending the truth, a much broader truth than the Palestinian people and nation,” Eftekhari emphasized.
“Quds Day, and Quds cause, is to fight the Zionist regime and its arrogance and domination system,” she added.
“We gathered here with the aim of accompanying and empathizing with all our loved ones in Palestine and the axis of Resistance everywhere in the world, and especially to accompany Palestinian women and girls,” said the former representative of Tehran in the Islamic Consultative Assembly.
In the end, Ms. Eftekhari announced the axes of the International Conference of Holy Quds as follows, “Quranic strategies for educating the young generation, the role of active women’s organizations and communities in reviving the rights of Palestinian women and children, the dynamic role of the resistance youth population in the realization of a new Islamic civilization, the position of Palestinian women and children in poetry and literature, the role of women in development of the Holy Quran, the decline and fall of the Zionist regime, the Palestinian family and women in international documents, the role of solidarity of Muslim women in defending the Holy Quds and the axis of Resistance, the effects of Islamic leaders, Palestinian women and children, educational, social and health challenges.”
