Elites from Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan visited departments of AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly

A group of university professors and teachers at educational institutes from Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan visited the departments of AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Qom.

During this visit, first Hojat al-Islam Al-e Ayoub, General Director of Cultural Cooperation and Publications of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, explained the objectives of establishing the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and the formation of departments and organizations of the Assembly, especially the Department for Scientific and Cultural Affairs.

Further in the meeting, Hojat al-Islam Jafari Farahani, the representative of the Department of the International Affairs of the Assembly in Qom, explained the activities of the Department, including the successful holding of the 7th General Assembly in September this year, and at the end, some of the guests’ questions were answered.

Then, while the guests visited the WikiShia virtual encyclopedia and ABNA International News Agency, explanations were provided by the relevant officials.

It is worth noting that the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly was established on December 31, 1990, with the aim of gathering Shiites, establishing relationships within the Shiite world, promoting Shiite seminaries, solving the problems of Shiites with other Islamic Denominations, and benefiting from the real and legal capabilities of Shiites.

The Assembly was established by the order of Grand Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, on December 25, 1990, with the aim of introducing the revolutionary foundations, and thought of the Islamic system of Iran to Shiites all over the world. /345/

مجمع جهانی اهل‎بیت(علیهم‎السلام)، به عنوان یک تشکل جهانی و غیردولتی، از طرف گروهی از نخبگان جهان اسلام تشکیل شده است. اهل‎بیت(علیهم‎السلام) به این دلیل بعنوان محور فعالیت انتخاب شده‎اند که در معارف اسلامی در کنار قرآن، محوری مقدس را که مورد پذیرش عامه مسلمین باشد، تشکیل می‎دهند.
مجمع جهانی اهل‎بیت(علیهم‎السلام) دارای اساسنامه‎ای مشتمل بر هشت فصل و سی و سه ماده است.
