Ayatollah Isa Qassim denounced the Bahraini regime’s pro-Zionist policies

A Bahraini member of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly denounced the holding of the so-called Independence Day of the Zionist regime in Bahrain.

Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim stated, “Is celebrating the so-called Independence Day of the Zionist regime – attended by compromisers, thanks to the ruling policy and permitted by Bahrani government – a declaration that the policy of the Bahraini government is pleased with the occupation of Palestine and the Al-Aqsa Mosque?”

“Is it possible to consider this action as a protest against the Zionist enemy, support for the ummah, confrontation against oppression and practice of Islamic values?! This contradicts the Bahraini government's claims of protection of Palestinian rights,” he emphasized.

It should be noted that a few days ago, the Israeli embassy in Bahrain held a ceremony to celebrate the anniversary of the establishment of the regime, which is known as the Nakba Day among Palestinians and the Arab world.

The ceremony was attended by Al-Khalifa officials, headed by Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa, and celebrated the 1948 occupation of Palestine along with Zionist officials!

Since the event, numerous national figures and the people of Bahrain criticized the move on social media and stressed that the Bahrainis have nothing to do with this offensive ceremony, and they have always been and will always be supporters of the Palestinian people.

Bahraini activists also called for the closure of the Zionist embassy in Manama, the immediate expulsion of the Zionist ambassador, and a complete cessation of normalization of relations with the regime.
