Ayatollah Ramazani’s Message of condolence on demise of Ayatollah Jafar Al-Hadi

In a message, Secretary General of Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly, Ayatollah Ramazani, offered his condolences on demise of the prominent Prof. of the Qom seminary, Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Mohammad Jafar Khoshnevis (Jafar al-Hadi).

The text of the message is as follows:

In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

The demise of the precious scholar, author who loves AhlulBayt (a.s.), tireless promoter of the teachings of the Quran and AhlulBayt (a.s.), the father of a martyr, Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Mohammad Jafar Khoshnevis (Jafar al-Hadi) multiplied our grief - that we have recently mourned the loss of many great people.

The unique researcher spent many years researching, writing, and translating in important Islamic fields such as the sciences of the Quran and Hadith, beliefs, sects, denominations, history, law, and Islamic governance, and left valuable works.

As a person who did not limit himself to geographical borders, he carried out his religious mission in different continents and countries of the world and from the Hosseini Minbars and whenever he had the opportunity, he propagated true knowledge through national and foreign audio-visual media, or through newspapers and magazines.

AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly has translated several numbers of valuable works of this prominent author and published them around the world. An example of which is the short but important and effective book “Al-Haqiqa Kama Hai” (The truth, as it is.), which has been translated and distributed in nearly 30 languages in the Assembly, and has also become a source of visual products for introducing and defending Shiism.

Membership in the faculty and book council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, as well as teaching in seminaries and universities, directing the Specialized Center of Hadith Sciences and scientific cooperation with various educational and research centers were other parts of the brilliant record of this great scholar.

On this irreparable loss, I offer my condolences to the Imam Mahdi (a.s.), the Supreme Leader of Iran Ayatollah Khamenei, the sources of emulations - especially Grand Ayatollah Sobhani who has lost a capable colleague - the seminaries of Iran and Iraq, scientific and academic societies, his friends, companions and students and also esteemed families of Khoshnevis, Tabasi and PourAmini.

I ask God to unite his soul with AhlulBayt (a.s.) and grant patience to his family, especially his esteemed wife and children.

“Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him do we indeed return” (Holy Quran 2:156)
