ABWA Official Website – During his visit to Karbala, Iraq, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, met with Grand Ayatollah Sayed Mohammad Taqi al-Modarresi. This meeting was also attended by Ayatollah Dorri-Najafabadi, Vice Chairman of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and a group of managers of the Assembly, as well as a number of Iraqi Shiite figures. /345/

Grand Ayatollah Sayed Mohammad Taqi al-Modarresi stated, “With the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, women got a special status to participate in social arenas. More attention should be paid to women’s society. Also, women’s seminaries should be strengthened.”

Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “The AhlulBayt (a.s.) school is beneficial not only for Shiites and Muslims but also for all those who thirst for justice all over the world. Therefore, the late Imam Khomeini (r.a.) congratulated all the oppressed people of the world on the 15^th of Sha’ban [birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi (a.s.)].”

Managers and representatives of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) Assembly of Iraq met with the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

ABWA Official Website – On March 17, 2023, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, who traveled to Iraq with a delegation of officials and directors of the Assembly, visited the tomb of Martyr Ayatollah Sayed Mohammad Baqir Hakim and the late Hojat al-Islam Sayed Abdul Aziz Hakim in the Martyrs Institution of Najaf and recited Surah al-Fatiha for them and all the martyrs and ulama. During this visit, Ayatollah Ramazani honored and appreciated the role of Martyr Hakim in the establishment, formation, and strengthening of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly. /345/

ABWA Official Website – On March 17, 2023, while attending Wadi al-Saalam cemetery, Najaf, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, visited the graves of a group of ulama and martyrs buried in the cemetery, including Martyr Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, and he recited Surah Al-Fatiha for them and all the martyrs of Islam. During this visit, Ayatollah Ramazani paid tribute to all the martyrs, especially the martyrs of the Resistance and Hashd al-Sha’bi (popular mobilization) of Iraq. /345/

Hojat al-Islam Sayed Mohammad Reza Al-e Ayub was appointed as the new director of the representative office of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Iraq.
