In this meeting, after reciting the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (a.s.) and verses from the Holy Quran, Messrs Sadiq al-Sharafi, a Yemeni media activist and the head of the Noon wa Al-Qalam Cultural Institute in Qom, and Fadel Mahmoud, the head of the Tribes Committee of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (a.s.) from Samarra Province, gave speeches.

Then, Mr. Khakrand, the secretary of the meeting, explained the title of the meeting and the objectives of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in holding meetings related to Arbaeen.

In another part of the meeting, a video introducing the activities of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and a video clip of the speech of Dr. Abulhayyah, a university professor, writer, and researcher from Algeria, were broadcast.

Dr. Abul Hayah, a well-known thinker and intellectual from Algeria, said, “Imam Hussain (a.s.) rose to make up for the Islamic lost honor. Whoever compromises with the enemy is humiliated and will be the manifestation of the enemy. Even today, the parties who compromise with global arrogance and America are puppets.”

The professor at Algerian Universities added, “With the victory of the Islamic Revolution, Iran also restored the lost dignity of Muslims and the oppressed of the world, and the pride, potency, and dignity of the Islamic Ummah returned.”

Further, Hojat al-Islam Moinian, Deputy for International Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, explaining the role of honor confronting the arrogant, listed the owners of honor in three groups from the perspective of the Quran: The first is God; the second is God, the Messenger, and the believers; and the third is whoever God wants.  He then stated Quranic verses in support of his argument.

Moinian then described dignity, including inherent and granted, and said that inherent dignity is specified to God, and granted dignity specified to servants. “The stages of reaching dignity are in two steps: first, disconnection from everything except Allah, and second, connection to God Almighty,” he added.

“Today, just as Hussaini honor has captured the hearts of millions of people in the world and led them to Imam Hussain (a.s.), the rejection of humiliation by the people of Gaza, even though they are the most oppressed, has caused the awakening of the people of the world, despite all Media censorship,” he Moinian emphasized.

“The fruit of honor and not giving in to humiliation is to be eternal and permanent,” said Hojat al-Islam Moinian, Deputy for International Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in the end of his speech.

A series of meetings of AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly during the Arbaeen ceremony of Imam Hussain (a.s.) is being held by the Arbaeen Committee of the Assembly for 10 nights in Karbala, Iraq. In this regard, the international conference of perseverance, stability, and awakening was held on the Arbaeen night with the presence of influential personalities of the followers of AhlulBayt (a.s.).
