The director of the Social Islamic Center of Senegal stated, “More than half a century has passed since the establishment of this center. The activity of this center has caused the Shiite population of this country to reach one million people.”
On Saturday, September 3, 2022, at the closing ceremony of the 7th General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Iran International Conference Center in Tehran, while referring to the preaching activities in Senegal, Hojat al-Islam Abdul Mon’em Al- Zayn stated, “There is an Islamic social institution in Senegal that includes educational centers, charities, mosques and medical centers.
The director of the Social Islamic Center of Senegal added, “More than half a century has passed since the establishment of this center. The activity of this center has caused the Shiite population of this country to reach one million people.”
“The AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly has made great efforts to hold the General Assembly. We appreciate them for holding this event,” he noted.
“In order for the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly to realize its efforts, Shiite institutions in the world should work in a coordinated and united manner,” stated Hojat al-Islam al-Zayn.
The Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly is an international non-governmental organization (INGO) that was established by a group of Shiite elites under the supervision of the great Islamic authority of the Shiites in 1990 to identify, organize, educate and support the followers of Ahl al-Bayt.
