Wednesday, 13 November 2024

Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “There is a need to hold courses for Friday imams in Georgia to learn about the commonalities of Orthodox Christianity and Shia. Because, unlike Catholicism, Orthodox Christianity is close to Sharia. There is also a need to hold courses about Wahhabism, sects, Christianity, doubts, and answering to doubts.”

ABWA Official Website – A group of Georgian Friday imams met with Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, in the Assembly headquarters in Qom.

In this meeting, Ayatollah Ramazani started his speech by saying, “In the last few months, we witnessed bitter and unfortunate events in the Islamic world and the Resistance Front.”

About the characteristics of Martyr Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, he said, “Martyr Nasrallah set a new record of resistance. He was a perfect example of Jihad for the sake of Allah. The fact that a follower of AhlulBayt (a.s.) shined so much so that he could expand the Resistance Front, is the pride of the Islamic world.”

“The martyrdom of figures like Sayed Hashem Safieddine, Ismail Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar, and other Resistance commanders are the tragedies that happened in the last few weeks. But because we are aware of history, these tragedies are small compared to the tragedy of Karbala,” continued the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“Martyrs’ school is alive. The martyrs were and are popular because of their faith and righteous deeds. The effect of Sayed Hassan Nasrallah’s martyrdom on the Resistance Front’s development, in terms of quantity and quality, will be greater,” he emphasized.

In another part of his speech, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “Today, there is a golden opportunity to promote the AhlulBayt (a.s.) culture in the world. While we did not have such an opportunity in the past. Therefore, we should use this opportunity to properly introduce the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school and Islam and introduce our leaders and figures to the world.”

“With a proper understanding of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school and its proper introduction, many people will be attracted to the school. The AhlulBayt (a.s.) school is based on reason and Fitrah (human divine nature), and everything that AhlulBayt (a.s.) said is in accordance with reason and Fitrah. Therefore, if we can prosper the Fitrah of the global society, the tendency towards the AhlulBayt (a.s.) thought will be created. As an example, we can mention the issue of resistance. We have not sought to conquer‌ and annex lands, to oppress others, and to build a kingdom. Rather, from the Islamic point of view, oppression is forbidden, and on the other hand, submission to oppression is also forbidden. Also, Islam seeks the two principles of dignity and justice. With dignity, we must educate ourselves and introduce Islamic justice to the world. Because the world is thirsty for justice. Many seek justice but misrepresent its examples. Also, their definition of dignity is different. We argue that humans are valuable beings, in this world and the hereafter. We argue that man is a valuable being in this world and the hereafter. Therefore, he should build his future in three parts: thought, morals, and actions,” he continued.

In his recommendations to the Friday imams of Georgia, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “Scholars should be armed with weapons of knowledge, and study in different fields. Martyr Motahari, who went to university as a professor, had only studied seminary sciences. Therefore, he read many university books. Also, Martyr Beheshti recommended one of his friends to spend three hours a day studying. In one of his meetings with the previous cabinet members, the Supreme Leader of the Revolution said that a person should connect himself to the fountain by studying and be updated.”

About the training courses for clerics he said, “In addition to face-to-face courses, virtual courses should also be held. The clergy and clerics should always seek education at any age. Because we need education.”

Addressing Georgia scholars, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “Go to universities and interact with students and professors. Of course, this requires scientific development.”

“There is a need to hold courses for Friday imams in Georgia to learn about the commonalities of Orthodox Christianity and Shia. Because, unlike Catholicism, Orthodox Christianity is close to Sharia. There is also a need to hold courses about Wahhabism, sects, Christianity, doubts, and answering to doubts,” he added.

Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “The discussion of (Sunni-Shiite) unity is essential. The unity of the Islamic Ummah is one of the topics that the Supreme Leader of the Revolution emphasizes a lot, and it is necessary to hold a course for Georgian scholars on this topic.”

“Scholars must answer the doubts. Today in the West, fake spirituality is promoted. There is about 4,000 fake spirituality in the West, the religion is not at the top of them. These fake spiritualities avoid accepting responsibility and conflict with it. Islam is against such spiritualities. Indeed, there is spirituality in Islam, a version of which accepts responsibility,’ he stated.

Considering attracting young people as important, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “Courses about the methods of attracting young people and communicating with them should be held. Also, scholars need to get acquainted with the Islamic lifestyle. The Supreme Leader of the Revolution emphasized the Islamic style in the seventh paragraph of the Statement of the Second Phase of the Revolution. Because Islamic lifestyle is the software of Islamic civilization.”

Referring to the necessity of family strength, he said, “Today, the West seeks to destroy the family. Therefore, scholars and clerics should have programs for young people and women. By identifying active and capable people, it is possible to establish a union for these two strata.”
