As a member of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, the late Ayatollah Vahedi actively participated in the meeting and activities of the Assembly, and by establishing good relations with scholars and the Sunni Muslim community, he was influential in strengthening the foundations of Islamic unity.
In a message, Ayatollah Akhtari, the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, expressed his condolences on the demise of the divine scholar Ayatollah Sayed Ahmad Vahedi.
In his message, Ayatollah Mohammad Hassan Akhtari wrote, “The felicitous deceased dedicated more than fifty years of his blessed life in the service of deprived people, seminaries and pilgrims of Lady Zaynab (a.s.).”

بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم
In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
The passing away of the honorable scholar, serving cleric, and promoter of the teachings of Quranic and AhlulBayt (a.s.), the late Ayatollah Haj Sayed Ahmad Vahedi Jahromi, caused a lot of sorrow and grief.
The felicitous deceased, who was one of the prominent clerics and enthusiasts of the Islamic Republic, and was trusted by Imam Khomeini (r.a.), the sources of emulation, and was one of the supporters and enthusiasts of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, Grand Ayatollah Khamenei, offered a lot of religious, cultural, social and health services to the Islamic society, especially in Syria and Zainabiyah area.
As a member of the General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, the late Ayatollah Vahedi actively participated in the meeting and activities of the Assembly, and by establishing good relations with scholars and the Sunni Muslim community, he was influential in strengthening the foundations of Islamic unity.
In addition to his written works in Arabic and Persian languages, he restored and reconstructed some of the shrines attributed to AhlulBayt (a.s.) in Syria, which is considered among his meritorious efforts and lasting righteous.

World Assembly, I offer my condolences to all his enthusiasts and bereaved family members, and I pray God for the deceased to be reunited with his immaculate ancestors, and I also pray God to grant patience to his family.
