The book “Excerpts from Guide to the Truth” was published in Turkish by the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Turkey.
The book is a brief overview of some of the Imamiyyah Shiite beliefs, and the structure of the book is based on nine chapters as follows:
The first chapter explains how Shiites originated, spread, and survived throughout history, and the second chapter discusses some of the Shiite beliefs that are debated against Wahhabi deviant ideas.
The status of the Quran from the Shiites points of view is the subject of the third chapter of thebook. In the next two chapters, various issues have been raised about the issues of Imamate and AhlulBayt (a.s.).
In the sixth chapter, the issue of Mahdviat in Islam is the focus of discussion that issues such as the birth of Imam Mahdi (a.s.), the cause of Occultation, longevity and delay in Reappearance have been scrutinized.
Defending the Shiite view on some jurisprudential issues, examining the two historical issues of Imam Hassan (a.s.) peace treaty with Muawiyah, and Umm Kulthum’s marriage to Umar, and finally explaining the Shiite view of the Companions, are the topics discussed in the last three chapters of the book.
It is worth mentioning that the book “Excerpts from Guide to the Truth” is translated by Ms. Leman Donmez into Turkish, by the order of the Translation Office of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and the publications of the Assembly in collaboration with “Tasnim Institute of Turkey” have published 1000 copies of it in Turkey.
The Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly is an international non-governmental organization (INGO) that was established by a group of Shiite elites under the supervision of the great Islamic authority of the Shiites in 1990 to identify, organize, educate and support the followers of Ahl al-Bayt.
