The head of the Karbala Center for Studies and Research affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (a.s.) and his accompanying delegation met with the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

ABWA Official Website - On the Thursday morning, November 17, 2022, Dr. Abdul Amir Aziz Qurayshi, the head of the Karbala Center for Studies and Research and the representative of Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Karbalai, custodian the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (a.s.), and his accompanying delegation met with Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Qom. In this meeting, while presenting a report on the activities of his respective center and holding a commemorating conference of Ayatollah Mirza Mohammad Taghi Shirazi, Qurayshi invited Ayatollah Ramazani to participate in this conference, which will be held on December 10 in Iraq. Also in this meeting, while emphasizing the importance and place of research, Ayatollah Ramazani appreciated the efforts of the custodian of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (a.s.) to commemorate the ulama of the Resistance, especially Ayatollah Mirza Mohammad Taghi Shirazi. /345/

Regarding the society’s expectations from the clergy, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “People expect the clergy to learn religion well and teach it correctly and comprehensively.”

The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly considered the compiling and preparing of the 46-volume encyclopedia of Ayatollah Musawi Al-Khersan as one of the noble, valuable and admirable works of the conference.

In a message, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, expressed his condolences on the tragic martyrdom of Majid Yusofi, the martyr Astaneh-ye Ashrafiyeh who defended the shrines and the security from.

Pointing to the strengthening the network of representatives by Imams (a.s.), the representative of the Assembly of Leadership Experts stated, “The purpose of creating a network of representatives was to prepare the Shiites to perform their duties during the Occultation of the Infallible Imam (a.s.).”

In a message, Ayatollah Ramazani, the representative of the people of Gilan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts, expressed his condolences on the tragic martyrdom of Hamid Pournorouz, the martyr who defended the shrines and the security of the people of Lahijan. 

In a message, Ayatollah Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and the representative of the people of Gilan in the Council of Leadership Experts, expressed his condolences on the martyrdom of young Basiji Hamzeh Alinejad.
