Friday prayer sermons should make unity, moving, enlightening: Ayatollah Ramazani

The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “The presence of Friday prayer imams in scientific and academic centers is due to the blessings of the revolution and the blood of the dear martyrs and should be appreciated.”

Hojat al-Islam Gholamreza Hajebi, the Friday Imam of Qeshm, met with Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in Tehran.

In this meeting, while praising the view of Qeshm Friday Imam on religious and cultural issues, Ayatollah Ramazani advised him to promote unity among all religions, especially Shiite and Sunni scholars and said, “Friday prayer sermons should make unity, moving and enlightening.  It is necessary for the Friday sermon preacher to pay attention to the scientific content of the sermons.”

“Study for at least 3 hours every day because the wise strengthening of the sermon strengthens the influence of the words of Friday prayer Imam,” he stated, addressing the Friday Imam of Qeshm.

“The Islamic Revolution has provided golden opportunities for Ulama. The presence of Friday prayer imams in scientific and academic centers is due to the blessings of the revolution and the blood of the dear martyrs and should be appreciated,” stated the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

At the beginning of the meeting, Hojat al-Islam Hajebi described the religious and cultural activities of the office of the Friday prayer Imam of Qeshm and provided statistics on clerics, mosques, universities, and seminaries in the city.

He expressed hope that the process of religious activities on Qeshm will accelerate with the support of the country’s religious institutions. He also invited Ayatollah Ramazani to speak on one of the ceremonies on Qeshm Island.

The Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly  is an international non-governmental organization (INGO) that was established by a group of Shiite elites under the supervision of the great Islamic authority of the Shiites in 1990 to identify, organize, educate and support the followers of Ahl al-Bayt.
