Ayatollah Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, visited the religious and cultural complex of Bohra Dawoodi Shiites in Madagascar.
ABWA Official Website – Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, who traveled to Madagascar at the invitation of the Shiites and Muslims of the country, visited the religious and cultural complex of Madagascar’s Bohra Dawoodi Shiites.
This complex, which was visited by Ayatollah Ramazani, includes the Friday Mosque, the Jamaat Mosque, and schools of different grades which were equipped with laboratories, libraries, informatics centers, dining halls, and residences of teachers and elders.
After the visit of Ayatollah Ramazani to the complex, the officials requested the facilitation of the travel of Bohra Dawoodi Shiites of Madagascar to Iran for the pilgrimage of the Holy Shrines.
In this meeting, after the introduction of AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University, the issue of admitting the graduates of Bohra Dawoodi Shiite schools of the world, including those of Madagascar, to this university, was raised.
The Bohra Dawoodi Shiite Complex of Madagascar is an educational, religious, and accommodation complex that has various sections, including a mosque, a school up to the diploma grade, 400 residential apartments, and a dining hall. More than 90% of Madagascar’s Bohra Shiites live in this complex.
